Bio
Tim first joined the Squashworld team as a coach in 2016, having previously spent a lot of time travelling around WA as a Regional Development Officer for WA Squash. His playing career has seen him reach a career high ranking of 178 on the PSA tour. He has previously won the WA Closed, Esperance, Geraldton and Busselton Opens and a number of State Grade wins with the Marmion and Subiaco Kings Squash Clubs. Tim has won the past two Cambridge Club Championships and leads our State Grade side as the #1.
As a coach, Tim has has a big impact across the various junior programs at Squashworld venues, promoting and coordinating the programs to see healthy regular numbers. It is nice however to be able to narrow the focus to just Cambridge and working with the team of coaches available to continue to build and grow a healthy junior squash program.
Outside of Squashworld, Tim has worked with the WA State Junior team for a number of years and did a stint with the Squash Australia National Junior Talent squads. He has worked privately with a number of juniors who have represented WA, played in or won national finals and represented Australia in both Trans Tasman series and at World Juniors. Tim has been recognised with several WA and Squash Australia Coach of the year awards.
Now as the centre operator, the ambition is to grow the number of coaching programs available to help people learn the game and improve their skills.
Tim is available for lessons at Cambridge Monday-Friday
