It's the "world's healthiest sport"
according to forbes magazine, and all are welcome to play squash at one of three convenient Squashworld centres
Squash is a great sport for kids to play, with plenty of benefits for the body and mind. Strength, agility, focus, strategy are just some of the many benefits of playing squash. What’s more important however is the social aspect of the game, there are many friendships formed at sporting clubs which last a lifetime.
Our Junior program takes place on Friday Afternoons and is a joint coordination effort between the centre and the Cambridge Squash Club. To attend the program on a regular basis does require participants to become social members of the squash club. Membership and program registration takes place on the club’s revolutionise page here. Coaching Format
Juniors will be assigned to the same coach and group for the term. Groups are determined firstly on ability, with social friendships also considered. Our coaches will be able to work with the group and progress accordingly. Quick improvements or other additions may see some groups change through the term.
Game Play Format
This year we would like to encourage longer matches against an opponent each week as opposed to lots of mini games in a round robin format. Everything is social based so having fun is the most important element. It is important however to know how to score and ref, so players will also be expected to learn and perform these duties at junior program before or after their match

Anything else?
Juniors looking to take the next step up can get involved in playing tournaments or Junior pennants outside of our regular Friday program. Various clubs around the state host tournaments each month, whilst WA Squash runs a junior pennant competition on Sundays throughout the year! Cambridge fits into the central zone so our talented juniors have the chance to represent the Central Champs team at the WA State Junior Age Zone Teams Championships in the July school holidays.
To play these competitions, you do have to upgrade your membership to the appropriate level, which is easily done in the Cambridge Squash Club revolutionise Sport website.
