The Squashworld Story

On January the 20th, 2006, Kane Fasolo and Adam Simmons were handed the reigns of Squashworld Mirrabooka (Built early 80’s) from the Whooley’s. Fiona, Jan, Helen and Andrew. The Whooley’s knew that with Kane and Adam’s appreciation of squash, experience in the industry and business acumen that Squashworld would be in good hands.

In October 2014 the boys expanded their squash horizons and began the complete renovation of Squashworld Cambridge in Wembley. The WA #1 player Mike (Moose/Bear) Corren came on board too and has helped greatly to revitalize the Cambridge courts and facilities alongside Kane and Adam. If you haven’t been there in 5+ years it’s well worth the visit!

Brentwood was the first SOR (south of the Swan River) Squashworld location. Already having a great squash club and tennis club ready to go made it an ideal choice for a new Squashworld. The Brentwood LED lights, club area, brand new kitchen and pro shop area renovations since 2016 have changed the look there phenomenally.

Since taking the helm of Squashworld the two entrepreneurs have joined forces with Wimbeldon Sports Depot. This was the beginnings of Racquet Shop. They hold Australia’s largest range of squash gear and also specialize in Tennis, Badminton, Pickleball and Racquetball (Squash57) and have done so for quite some time now. Our racquet re-stringing service is second to none and can be provided at any of our locations.
